Number of Fields in Complex:  2 Fields
General Comment:
Previously, this was a 4 field complex, but due to balls being hit over the screen and doing damage to houses (there previous to the park being built), 2 fields (fields #2, #3) are being converted to soccer fields. This is sad because Lorenzi is easily one of the top 3 complexes in all of Las Vegas. As of 8/22, Lorenzi is off the list of fields being assigned for play for 2018 World Master Championships for SSUSA. It was on the list of fields to be used prior to 8/22.
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating:  Covered spectator seating with ample shade. It’s a very nice park to watch a game.
Snack Bar/Restaurant:   YES ☒ NO
Comments:  Every year there is a food truck that had serviced the needs you would have from a built in snack bar.
Restroom Locations:  Restroom location is between fields 2-3 (nor soccer fields)
Playground For Kids:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area:  There are a few picnic areas close to fields.
Other Park Amenities:  Fishing, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playground w/splashpad
Spectator Experience Comments:
As mentioned above, the spectator experience is very good here. The covered bleachers are comfortable and allow you to watch the game out of the sun. Bathrooms are close to fields. Everything you want is right there. Fields are not far from parking lot either, so carrying coolers/chairs not too bad. Kind of a rough neighborhood, so make sure car is locked before going into the park.
Player Experience:
Dug Out:  Covered, clean dugouts
Warm Up Area:  There are places to throw next to fields, as well as fenced in bull pen areas for setting up tee/net
Batting Cages:  YES       ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Field Dimensions:  300’ symmetrical fences. Fields have high fences that offset a bit the impact of using X Rock balls
Field Conditions:  Grass infields and outfields all maintained well.
Scoreboard:  YES       ☒ NO
Player Experience Comments:
As mentioned, this is easily one of the top 3 venues in all of LV. Tall fences (between 15-18’ high) make people earn the home runs they hit. Fields are well cared for. There is an open field to the west of the parking lot that has room to hit and warm up.
Review Summary:
The Good:
1) Well maintained fields with the added fun of grass infields (unique)
2) Great place to watch a game—the spectator bleachers are well shielded from sun
3) Tall fences add a bit of intrigue as well—no cheap home runs hit
The Bad:
1) Rough neighborhood—make sure car is locked
2) Previously 4 fields, but reduced to 2 fields now do to HR bombardment of neighboring houses
The Ugly:
1) The best field you will not get to play on now that it has been removed from the list of fields scheduled for 2018 SSUSA World Masters Championships (this is a major blow—now teams will be scheduled at places not as nice as Lorenzi).
