General Information:
Entrance Fee:  N/A ENTRANCE FEE
Cooler allowed:  ☒ YES      ☐ NO
Parking:  Tons of parking all around the complex. Multiple parking lots
Pet Friendly:  ☒ YES      ☐ NO
Number of Fields in Complex:  4 fields
General Comment:
4 softball fields on the west side of Las Vegas. Turf infields and outfields on all fields, covered stands. Park is close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. At time of review, infield dirt has overtaken much of the turf infield, which looks bad but should have minimal impact on playing.
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating:  Stands are covered, but covered canopies over the seating is high, leaving times when stands hot
Snack Bar/Restaurant:   ☒ YES ☐ NO
Comments:  Not open at time of review, but there appears to be a snack area at center of the complex
Restroom Locations:  Restroom locations are in same center building that houses the snack bar
Playground For Kids:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area:  Many covered picnic benches throughout park
Other Park Amenities:  Huge dog park, swimming/water park, many soccer fields across the street
Spectator Experience Comments:
The park tries hard to keep the sun off you with large covered areas. There seems to be decent snack bar and bathroom area. There are many stores/restaurants close to park and many places to picnic. If you are bringing a pet, the dog park is a big part of this facility. The swim area is nice if you have kids that want to swim for some reason.
Player Experience:
Dug Out:  Dugouts are NOT covered. The chain link is bare on top, so plan on being hot.
Warm Up Area:  There are warm up areas next to each field (basically a small throwing area). Great for tee/net
Batting Cages:  YES       ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Field Dimensions:  300’ symmetrical fields. Field 3 has 15-18’ fence in left on field 3 (protecting dog park)
Field Conditions:  Turf infields overrun by dirt at time of review. Looks bad. Turf outfields
Scoreboard:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Player Experience Comments:
Large soccer complex across the street (north side of Spring Mountain) will provide many areas to hit when soccer leagues are not playing. Sat/Sunday probably not an option. Bring something to put over dugouts unless you are a fan of sun exposure.
Review Summary:
The Good:
1) Convenient to stores/restaurants for anything you might need before or after games
2) Turf outfields play fast and true (no bad hops)
3) Covered spectator areas
4) Scoreboards! Whether they use them or not is another matter
The Bad:
1) Infields look bad (at time of review). Hoping there is a way to get dirt where it belongs
The Ugly:
1) Dugouts not covered is a big miss. My hope is the review was during a time where they were replacing sun cover.
