Cooler allowed: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Parking: Decent sized lot to east of fields. Additional parking to the south and east of fields as well.
Pet Friendly: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Number of Fields in Complex: 2 Fields
General Comment:
Average city fields in nice park just off of 215 near the airport (south). Decent amount of picnic areas for surviving game breaks. Nothing overly memorable about the complex—almost the textbook definition of “average”.
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating: Uncovered bleachers—bring sun protection. Canopy would be best option here.
Snack Bar/Restaurant: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Comments: Appears to be a snack bar area, but at time of review facility was not in use, so unsure if they will open for SSUSA tourney.
Restroom Locations: Restroom location is south of fields and about 50 yard walk from south field.
Playground For Kids: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area: Many covered picnic areas
Other Park Amenities: Basketball courts, walking area. Not a large park.
Spectator Experience Comments:
September in Vegas is still hot. Uncovered bleacher areas are not fun for afternoon games (really any game after 10am). Bathrooms are not really close to field, so plan accordingly when you need to use them. The best thing I can say about this park is it has multiple covered picnic areas which are great for between game breaks.
Player Experience:
Dug Out: Dugouts are covered from the sun and decent-sized.
Warm Up Area: Plenty of warm up area for throwing/stretching prior to games
Batting Cages: YES ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Field Dimensions: 300’ symmetrical fields
Field Conditions: Outfield in average condition. Infield could use a good dragging, but will be fine for tourney.
Scoreboard: YES ☒ NO
Player Experience Comments:
Large field (open area) that can be used for hitting just south of fields. If you plan on trying to hit here, please know it’s marginal at best for hitting and can really only let one team hit due to limited size of space, so plan on getting there early to beat other teams to the area.
