Pet Friendly:  ☒ YES      ☐ NO
Number of Fields in Complex:  3 fields
General Comment:
Park includes a total of 4 fields—3 softball fields and 1 little league baseball field. Large parking lot can accommodate an entire tournament without issues. Close to shopping, food, and Pharmacy (within walking distance).
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating:  Uncovered metal bleachers
Snack Bar/Restaurant:   ☒ YES ☐ NO
Comments:  Snack bar right at complex. Harmons (grocery store) walking distance for better (healthier) options between games.
Restroom Locations:  Restrooms are located in center building that also hosts the snack bar.
Playground For Kids:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area:  Many covered picnic areas to enjoy break
Other Park Amenities:  Splash pad, soccer fields, basketball courts
Spectator Experience Comments:
While the bleachers are uncovered (unfortunate for hot, day games in Saint George), the park has everything else covered for the spectator including working scoreboards, clean facilities, snack bar, and many things within walking distance. If you have young children, they will love the playground and the splash pad.
Player Experience:
Dug Out:  Clean, comfortable and covered.
Warm Up Area:  Areas to warm up between fields. You can also warm up on the baseball field (if unused)
Batting Cages:  YES       ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Field Dimensions:  300’ symmetrical fences (considerable amount of temporary fencing required here)
Field Conditions:  Average field conditions
Scoreboard:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Player Experience Comments:
There are places to hit prior to playing at a below soccer field and at the middle school that is adjacent to the park (just to the north). You will be unable to hit at the school during the weekdays when school is in session. Fields are average condition at best. Temporary fencing is an eyesore and dangerous with no warning track in the places where temporary fencing occupies the field. The little league field is potentially a great place to take infield or throw prior to the games. Be careful of the no sunflower seed policy- you wouldn’t want to spend the evening in jail (see video review).
Review Summary:
The Good:
1) Beautiful backdrop (red rocks—great look and feel)
2) Convenient location—Harmon’s, Pharmacy, and Café Rio (a St George favorite) is within walking distance
3) Great fun for younger spectators/families (splash pad, covered picnic areas, nice big playground)
The Bad:
1) Temporary fencing is cheap looking and dangerous for outfielders
2) Doesn’t compare to other local venues, especially the Canyons. You feel let down if you have to play here
3) Uncovered bleachers are not fun on hot days. Bring sun protection
The Ugly:
1) The sunflower seed signs (zero tolerance policy) are funny
