Cooler allowed:  ☒ YES      ☐ NO
Parking:  West of fields—2 large lots (lock your car)
Pet Friendly:  ☒ YES      ☐ NO
Number of Fields in Complex:  3 Fields
General Comment:
3 softball field complex (1 little league field as well) that has been recently upgraded (within past 4 years) to include restrooms at field (previously you had to hike to rec center for a real bathroom) and a snack bar. Potentially wind wreaks havoc in the afternoons.
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating:  Covered metal bleachers that do offer protection from sun (at times)
Snack Bar/Restaurant:   ☒ YES ☐ NO
Comments:  Snack bar a fairly new development
Restroom Locations:  Restrooms located between fields 1-2 and very close to fields
Playground For Kids:  ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area:  Nice picnic area next to kids playground
Other Park Amenities:  Water park and rec center a part of this facility.
Spectator Experience Comments:
Bleachers provide for a decent spectator experience. Everything a spectator needs (decent seating, snack bar, conveniently-located restrooms) all right there to be had. Lack of scoreboards is an inconvenience.
Player Experience:
Dug Out:  Covered, large dugouts that can accommodate the entire team with no issues.
Warm Up Area:  Not a lot of room for throwing between fields. Warm up can be done on baseball field.
Batting Cages:  YES       ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting:  YES       ☒ NO
Field Dimensions:  300’ symmetrical fields
Field Conditions:  Infields are ok. Outfields were infested with large weeds throughout at the time of the review.
Scoreboard:  YES       ☒ NO
Player Experience Comments:
Wind can be a large factor at Hollywood. Outfield delivers bad hops due to the mix of grass and obnoxious weeds. Fields 1&2 are not as bad as field 4 (field 3 is the baseball field). If the baseball field is available, this is the only decent place to warm up.
Review Summary:
The Good:
1) Nice views of the Strip
2) People coming to support you have a decent place to sit and watch the game (fields 1&2)
3) Recent enhancements (snack bar/restroom facility) is a huge upgrade.
The Bad:
1) Fields poorly maintained (at time of review)
2) Field 4 is an all-around mess. If you have been assigned to play at Hollywood, pray for fields 1&2!
The Ugly:
1) Wind in the afternoon (quite often) turns games into walkfests (how good is your pitcher?)
