Cooler allowed: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Parking: Small lot to west of fields. Another lot to the south (when school out)
Pet Friendly: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Number of Fields in Complex: 2
General Comment:
Dos Escuelas Park is a two field complex in the Green Valley/Henderson side of town (fairly close to Green Valley Ranch Resort just off 215 and Green Valley Parkway). The fields are hidden from view and unless you have attended a little league game at the park, there is a good chance you had no idea these fields existed.
Spectator Experience:
Spectator Seating: Metal bleachers that have no shade provided. Tree-lined fields (along outfields) perfect for camping chairs. Plenty of shade—just not where bleachers are.
Snack Bar/Restaurant: YES ☒ NO
Comments: No snack bar at facility
Restroom Locations: One restroom building west of fiends (significant walk and next to impossible to visit between innings)
Playground For Kids: ☒ YES ☐ NO
Picnic Area: There are a couple places to picnic.
Other Park Amenities: Nice dog park, well-maintained tennis courts.
Spectator Experience Comments:
If you bring your own chair there are plenty of places to enjoy the games down each foul line (behind fencing) that is shaded. If you intend to sit in bleachers, you will want to bring something to provide shade. Bathrooms are a significant hike from the fields. Plan on missing 1 full inning if you need to go. Bring your cooler and snacks or else you will go hungry/thirsty.
Player Experience:
Dug Out: Dugouts are clean and spacious, but they are not covered (unless you count tree shade, which helps a bit).
Warm Up Area: The warm up areas are lacking due to trees lining the fields. If you want to throw, you will be throwing in walkway to/from parking lot.
Batting Cages: YES ☒ NO
Adjacent Fields for Hitting: YES ☒ NO
Field Dimensions: Uneven fences with some dimensions dipping under 300’.
Field Conditions: Grass infields. Mound area is raised for little league at time of review. Grass outfields well maintained.
Scoreboard: YES ☒ NO
Player Experience Comments:
Tough for a player to get ready between games with such limited space to warm up. Grass infield will take some getting used to since it’s uncommon. Shorter fences with X Rock balls used in Vegas make this park potentially a launching pad for higher-rated brackets.
